Frost Advisory

Issued at 12:07 a.m. EDT Friday 19 September 2014
Summary

Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas. A high pressure system has brought clear skies and light winds to Southern Ontario. As a result, temperatures are forecast to drop to near or just below freezing and frost is expected to form in many areas. Temperatures will rebound this morning after sunrise.

Details

Cover up plants, especially those in frost-prone areas. Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required, so stay tuned to your local media or Weatheradio. Email reports of severe weather to storm.ontario@ec.gc.ca or tweet with the hashtag #ONStorm.
