Relentless snow squalls in parts of Ontario have brought upwards of 40 cm to some places. Threat continues into Friday morning before another weekend storm.

Flurries with risk of snow squalls today into early Friday. Strong winds continue to generate lake effect flurries off the open waters of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. The flurries are expected to be heavy at times with local snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm quite possible. Snow squalls may occasionally affect these regions today and early Friday as well. Motorists should be prepared for very low to at times nil visibilities in snow and blowing snow.Details
