Winter Storm Warning

Issued at 22:35 Friday 05 February 2016
Summary

Hazardous winter conditions are expected. A low pressure system is passing south of Nova Scotia tonight. Snow, at times heavy, over southern New Brunswick will end from the west this evening and overnight as the low moves away. Gusty northerly winds will give blowing snow tonight. Total snowfall amounts of near 30 cm are expected. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to weatherASPC@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports to #NBStorm.
