Summary

A long period of snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 20 cm is expected. A Pacific frontal system tracking across Saskatchewan will bring heavy snowfall to the Manitoba Parklands and Interlake regions later today through Saturday morning. Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 cm are expected in the warned regions before the snow diminishes Saturday afternoon as the system moves off to the east.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight.
