Description

This is a Manitoba Emergency Alert. The Manitoba Infrastructure and Transportation Hydrologic Forecast Centre has issued a severe wind warning for the south basin of Lake Manitoba and for Lake Winnipeg. Winds are forecast to range up to 55 km/h starting today and calming Friday afternoon. Wind speed and wave action could raise lake levels by as much as five feet or more.
