A Pacific warm front will continue to spread snow across the Central Interior tonight and Friday. Light snow has already developed over the Central Interior and it is expected to become heavier overnight as a low pressure system approaches from the northwest. Total snowfall accumulations will range widely from 10 cm up to 40 cm. The area expected to be hardest hit extends from the Cariboo region near highway 97 westward through the Chilcotin and northward towards Vanderhoof. Lesser amounts are likely for the City of Prince George, Northwest Bulkley Valley, Williston, McGregor and the Northern Yellowhead regions. Tweet severe weather reports using #bcstorm.
