Summary

Rain, at times heavy, is expected. A low pressure system over Alberta will result in rain showers and thunderstorms today and Friday. Total rainfall amounts near 50 mm are forecast over Whitecourt, Grande Cache, Grande Prairie, and western sections of the Slave Lake region. Locally higher amounts may occur with embedded thunderstorms. The rain is expected to taper off Friday evening.
