Near zero visiblity in fog is expected or occurring. A band of thick fog has developed over central portions of Alberta this evening. Many locations are reporting low visibilities at this time and are not expected to improve until Thursday morning. As temperatures are well below freezing, this fog may result in locally slippery conditions.Details
Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near zero visibility. Weather Advisories for fog are issued when near zero visibilities in fog are expected or occurring. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
