Summary

Snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected. A low pressure system over southwestern Saskatchewan late this afternoon will continue to track eastwards this evening. Snow continues over much of central and northern Alberta however the area of heavier snowfall is now confined to east central areas of the province. the snowfall will gradually taper off this evening as the low moves further to the east. Snowfall Warnings are issued when snowfall amounts of 10 centimetres are expected in 12 hours.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Snowfall Warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
