Summary

Rain, at times heavy, is expected. 20 to 40 mm of rain has fallen since late yesterday with the greatest amounts over the Kootenays. Further amounts of 10 to 15 mm are likely through Wednesday morning. The precipitation in the southern Okanagan will ease this evening and further east the precipitation will taper off on Wednesday. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Watch for possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please monitor local media or Weatheradio.
