WEST OF INTERSTATE 35...SOUTH WINDS WERE 20 TO 30 MPH WITH SOME GUSTS IN THE 35 TO 40 MPH RANGE WERE COMMON. STRONG SOUTH WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH ARE GOING TO SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON...AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THE STRONGEST WIND GUSTS ARE EXPECTED TO OCCUR DURING THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON. LIGHT-WEIGHT AND HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES MAY HAVE PROBLEMS DRIVING ON EAST-WEST ORIENTED ROADS TODAY.
