The cold airmass across the Prairies will once again combine with winds in the 15 to 20 km/h range to produce dangerous wind chills in the minus 40 to minus 45 range. The wind chills should be at their coldest tonight and Wednesday morning before moderating by Wednesday afternoon. At these extreme wind chill values frostbite on exposed skin may occur in less than 10 minutes.
