Snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 20 cm is expected.
A slow moving low pressure system is bringing heavy snow to the Cape Dorset area today. Snow will intensify this evening giving snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm to the area overnight into Tuesday morning. Strong southwest winds will accompany this system giving rise to blowing snow with visibilities less than 2 km. The snow will taper off late Tuesday morning as the system moves out of the area.
