An Arctic ridge of high pressure continues to reside in Southern Manitoba. Temperatures near - 30 overnight, combined with winds of 15 to 20 km/h will produce wind chill values of - 40. At these extreme wind chill values frostbite on exposed skin may occur in less than 10 minutes. Temperatures are expected to warm throughout the day Monday. However, below normal temperatures are expected for much of the week.
