DetailsAn upper level disturbance over Northwestern Montana will track northeastward near Southern Alberta this evening. This feature is expected to trigger scattered thunderstorms, some of which will have the potential to become severe. These thunderstorms will be slow moving, as a result prolonged heavy downpours will be of concern. In addition there will also be a threat of large hail and strong wind gusts. Thunderstorms are also developing along the foothills. Some of these thunderstorms could become severe giving heavy rain, large hail and strong winds.
