Description

This is a Manitoba Emergency Alert. The Manitoba Hydrologic Forecasting Centre has issued Severe Wind Effect Alerts for July 29th for the south basins of Lake Winnipeg and Lake Manitoba. Wind speed and direction could raise levels by as much as five feet or more along the south shores of Lake Winnipeg and Lake Manitoba. High, Moderate, and Low Wind Effect Alerts for July 29th are also in effect for areas of Lake Manitoba, Lake Winnipegosis, Dauphin Lake, and Oak Lake.
