The Weather Network Commercial Services, provides complete weather solutions for a variety of industries including Media, Retail, Energy, and Transportation. To our clients we bring to bear all of the resources of Canada’s largest private meteorological team, leading edge atmospheric visualization and forecasting tools and the ability to deliver the weather story independent of medium.
By focusing our attention on companies in industries where weather has a significant impact on their operational performance we have developed a deep understanding of operational realities and the mission critical nature of our weather information. We do not stop at the generation of weather data nor in the distribution of weather reports (weather information), instead we go deeper, and bring to our clients a vast amount of knowledge on the weather event and the potential impacts that our forecasts may have on your operation.
The 30 Outlooks are designed to help decision-makers assess temperature and precipitation deviations from normal. Weather maps are used in combination with the 30-day monthly reports to demonstrate how our meteorologists define atmospheric models and weather phenomena (e.g. El Nino and La Nina) in relative terms to historical patterns. When using this information with internal historical data, the reports serve as a great tool to plan and prepare for weather related events that could be detrimental, or beneficial to an organization. "Normal" values for temperature and precipitation compliment this service as part of the planning tool that reduces the operational risk for an organization.
Normals site data

Historical city data
Daily observations are available, or as a daily/weekly feed presenting the previous day's/week's weather values. When in combination with "normal" values, this data serves as a critical basis from which analysis and research on consumption, buying patterns, and program effectiveness can be measured. to assess impact of temperature fluctuation. Note: a variety of weather parameters are available in addition to temperatures
